Bantry & Dunmanway School Completion Programme (BDSCP) works in the 3
post – primary schools in the towns of Bantry, Dunmanway &
Skibbereen, and also in 3 rural primary schools. The BDSCP Management
Committee invites applications for the position of a Part Time
Temporary Project Worker. This is a fixed term/purpose contract with
the expected base to be in Skibbereen. While the number of hours and
duration of the position will be subject to funding, it is hoped to be
* hours per week, commencing in August **Apply

Management Committee may consider an extension to this contract
duration depending on circumstances.
A panel may be formed from which any vacancies which arise may be
filled. This panel will remain in place for *
months from the interview date.
The primary objective of this position is to engage with a target
group of children and young people who have been identified as being
at risk of early school leaving, supporting them to productively
participate in their education and there by maximise their potential.
